I followed this example to calculate h2 in a sample consisting of related and unrelated individuals: gcta.freeforums.net/thread/241/greml-analysis-family-data)I am assessing the h2 of several quantitative traits, and so far the results tend to look as follows, with V(G2)/Vp ~ 0. One of my results was the opposite though, with V(G1)/Vp ~ 0 and V(G2)/Vp~.25. Does this seem reasonable, or could I be doing something incorrectly? Source Variance SE V(G1) 0.005133 0.008713 V(G2) 0.000000 0.009086 V(e) 0.014979 0.002210 Vp 0.020112 0.000859 V(G1)/Vp 0.255231 0.432977 V(G2)/Vp 0.000001 0.451748 Sum of V(G)/Vp 0.255232 0.108455 logL 1600.898 logL0 1600.718 LRT 0.359 df 1 Pval 0.2746 n 1111 Thank you!
