I'm a PhD student majoring statistics and I'm new to the GCTA method and GWAS study. I wonder if we could use bootstrap or jackknife method to estimate the variance of the estimated heritability ratio or Var(X*beta) calculated by GCTA method. I have done some simulations, but it seems that those ad-hoc methods may not work well with GCTA. I just want to double check if this would be a right direction to start with. Any thoughts and comments are very welcome.
