Hi Jian et al.,
I believe the answer is "no" (and have probably asked in person before) but will ask anyway.
Is it possible to fix a parameter to some specific value in GCTA? E.g., if you have 2 GRMs (A1 and A2) and corresponding estimates for them (theta1 and theta2), is it possible to fix theta2 to .35 and to allow theta1 to be estimated freely given theta2=.35?
If the answer is "no", then can you think of some kludge (e.g., residualizing ZiZj on A2*theta2) that would accomplish roughly the same thing?
Thanks!
Matt
