Differences between --ld-pruning and --ld-multi-snp?

When performing multi-SNPs SMR, there seems to be two parameters regarding LD pruning: --ld-pruning and --ld-multi-snp. And their default values were set up very differently. I was wondering what are the differences between these two parameters and how should I use them?
