Does anyone know why there is a binary release for 1.24.4 but the latest source code on the download page (http://www.complextraitgenomics.com/software/gcta/download.html) is 1.21? Is there a Github repository or something where we can get the latest source?
I've been asked to install GCTA at Sanger for human genetics users, and we have a policy to warn users when they are using software without available source. If I can't get the source for 1.24.4 and compile it myself, I'll have to install gcta 1.24.4 in the "blackbox" area which users are discouraged from using.
Cheers,
Josh.

I just noticed the dependency on Intel MKL - I guess that means that even with the source code to GCTA itself, it won't be possible to compile this without including proprietary software. Oh well, into the black box it goes!

Having a github repo or at the very least an updated source release would be incredibly useful for patching and additional features.
