Hello,
I have a question about GREML analysis in whole exome sequencing data with a relatively high level of relatedness.
I see that there are separate methods for creating GRMs using sequencing data (GCTA-LDMS) and family data (Zaitlen et al method). I have data where I would like to use both methods when estimating heritability. Is it appropriate to perform LD stratification and then bK correction if I have WES data in a cohort where ~40% have at least 1 up to 3rd degree relative?
By using this scheme, I would have to include 8 GRMs (4 LD score groups * 2 bK diagonal adjusted and unadjusted).
Thanks, Jon
