Hello: When I type the command 'gcta64' or './gcta64', it says 'bash: ./gcta64: cannot execute binary file'. In this case, what should I do? Thank you!

Sorry, I've no idea about this. It should be working. We've got some Ubuntu users. I hope Ubuntu users can reply.

Same problem here. Running Darwin 13.1.0 x86/64 on OS X 10.9.2. GCTA 1.24 does not support OS X; however, the gcta_1.02.zip archive posted on the Download page has a working Mac binary. (If you find GCTA 1.02's --make-grm unacceptably slow, you can use PLINK 1.9 for that step, and then continue your analysis with gcta_mac.)

Hello, I was having the same problem with both MAC and PC. However, with mac I was able to solve the problem: Instead of using instead of ./gcta64 -- I used as comand line ./gcta_mac, and in that way the analyses was running.
IS THIS CORRECT? Can I use ./gcta_mac ?
For PC, I did not bother looking further after solving the problem in mac.
